We are continually hearing about catastrophic events happening around the world. The question we have to keep asking ourselves is, am I prepared for what might happen in my own back yard and if i'm not prepared now then when? When do we start to get prepared, when we see the mushroom clouds rising off in the distance or see the bright flash of light just before we feel the blast of detonation. How about when we hear about a massive winter storm with freezing rain, ice and snow coming our way. Or if you live on the coast and hear of an F-5 hurricane headed your way. Is that the time to think about being prepared? Any boy or girl scout would tell you, no. The time to prepare is before you hear the warnings not after. Plan for what is most likely to happen in your town or city and get yourself prepared.
